Dr Tammy Tong, head of the research team, said: “Vegetarians are deficient in calcium and protein, which increases their risk of bone fractures. Before adopting any diet, we should consider both its advantages and disadvantages and adopt a diet in which our body mass index remains healthy. We should not become too thin or obese. ”
